I voted no, only because I don't (yet) have a dual-screen set-up. That said, I think you should still make one, because it would probably look pretty amazing, even if I wasn't able to use all of it, myself.

Maybe a two-part wallpaper that would work on single monitors one at a time, but would look best when duly paired on a dual-screen setup?

well you dont have to have dualscreens to use it. they would definitly add coolness to compiz

I always have to stitch them myself, since one of my screens is running at 1600x1200, the other at 1280x1024. So the obvious answer is, 3200x1200 and 2560x1024

2560 * 1024 would be nice
