Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

What I personally find the hardest to draw is feet and hands. I found that with a lot of practice and a lot of frustrating mistakes my feet and hands actually look at the very least almost the way i want them to be.
Now my favorite Style of drawing is Anime or sometimes semi-realism, and i find that by doing studies of the more traditional style realism actually helps improve my anime pictures greatly. For instance i would practice drawing my hands and feet in different positions holding different things and from different angles. I also find it extremely helpful while i'm drawing and i'm having a particularly hard time drawing a hand or a foot in a certain position i will stop for a

16 Months

Hey guys,
15 incredible months are gone and there is just one more. This journal might not be the last goodbye, but it's a prelude. What am I talking about? If some of you read the CR-Newsarticle "Changes to the volunteer program" they will know.

This changes mean, for `gucken and me, to step down from outerspace back to earth as normal aliens

. The reason why I'm telling you this now is pretty simple. I want our last month to be one of the best of this time. Suggest deviations!

As the CR team is going to shrink in future, I'm not sure if there are going to be new space/sci-fi GM's again (hopefully at least one). You see: if there isn't any new one, May is going to be the last month for you to suggest a space/sci-fi image to the specialized gallery mod.

`gucken and I really want a successor. We talked to $Moonbeam13 about it already. If you see yourself as a appropriate person (space/sci fi related, community/dA addict, eager to promote our genre) feel free to write us a note. We would like to help $Moonbeam13 and find the right one for the job (if there is going to be one). That ensures the best possible result I think.

I just read that news article. IMHO, that's not a good way to handle it. If one of the GMs gets bored or frustrated, he/she should by all means resign and hand the job to someone else. Making hard rules like max. 1 year GM, then at least 1 year pause will for sure not solve every situation in a good way. I believe that hard rules will always cause more harm than good.

Do I have a better idea? For sure I have. But it's pointless to tell - since it's already decided, presenting it and discussing it will do nothing except making me frustrated.

(I have no idea what the GMs do, but given that I don't even find the time to create and upload as much fractal stuff as I want, I would not want to become a GM, not even for money.)

Therefore:
