Zeliszow Church Series: II by taenaron Zeliszow Church Series: II by taenaron
Awesome photosession in the former German village Giersdorf (now in Poland, named Zeliszow).

The church was in construction from 1796-1797and was built by Carl Gotthard Langhans (who also built Brandenburg Gate).
It was abandoned after WWII when Germans had to leave the area.

It's amazing even now... you can really feel the aura of this place. You can tell that Langhans had a mind for sacred geometry and the feeling of awe you get when walking into certain places. I'm very impressed with your ability to capture that with this shot.

This place is wonderful. Why they don't restore it? The shot is great.
