Description

Landscape wallpaper without any Sci-Fi or space elements this time. It took my quite a while to complete this image as the concept changed several times. The keypoints of course are the waterfalls that are placed throughout the picture. Some HD-wallpaper for personal usage only are available. Resources from cgtextures and my personal photos.

Ahhhh, now this is simply wonderful!! So i guess this is how it looks when you're standing under a waterfall? <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="=D" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="367" title="=D (Big Grin)"/>

Those hills in the background, that tower, bridge and the heart-warming evening atmosphere...reminds me of some of the beautiful scenes from Skyrim that I keep on staring at till my eyes aren't full satisfied <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/c/c…" width="15" height="15" alt="8-)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="371" title="8-) (Cool)"/>. Giving a slight motion blur at the bottom of the water fall/curtain is a nice touch, it feels like the water is actually falling and hitting the ground really hard <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/>

There are a couple of things that bother me though..

1. The hills - As you go further away from anything, like hills and mountains, they keep fading into the atmosphere, but the hills here look sharp and clear.

2. The river - It could use some details, like a current, because it doesn't look like the water is flowing... And some shine/reflection of the sky. A little tint of orange would make it look better.

Overall, this is a magnificent piece. I love it. Great work man<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/t/t…" width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="262" title="Thumbs Up"/>
