As little child, I was totally in love with castles and knights. I somehow still like the topic and that is why I tried this picture. It's more some kind of training and practise. But I had fun doing it and I'm satisfied for now with it. Recommendations what could be improved in future are very welcome.
And of course I'm thankful for every kind of comments as well as favs
Vision: Great job setting this piece apart from the vast others that I see. The vision is great because it shows consistency over the entire piece, from the color scheme to the fire and ashes, etc.
Originality: As I said above, this one really stands out from many other pieces. I enjoy the use of mid evil times castle and fire, as well as the loneliness of the winter pine trees.
Technique: I'd say overall this is great, but I can find a few things to work on. I think the border texture should extend all the way through and not stop at the corners. Also, the second highest piece of fire on the long high tower looks a little too artificial when compared to the other ones. I think overall the fire looks great but that little piece in particular could use a little reworking. As well as the fire, I also wonder how this would look with just the small planet up high in the sky and not the larger one, because this one is struggling a little bit for a focal point. I would like to see some reflections in the water as well.
Impact: When I look at this, I am bought and sold. I feel like I am in the dark ages where knights and ladies with long blond hair are plentiful!
Deviousness: Other than being extremely critical to just help you think about certain areas, this is a great piece and it shows you spent a ton of time working on it. Fantastic work, sir
Good Lord Tae this is marvelous I love it. Although it seems a tragic piece due to the castle in flames. Still is breath taking specially the Moon next to it.
