Alderamin

Huge improvement on the upper part. New nebula and new clouds. A complete new feeling...

My biggest project so far and I'm really happy that it's done. It took me about 40 hours to paint, render, shot ... that.
The city was prerendered with c4d and then I painted the textures in photoshop. Not perfect but it was my first attempt to paint a whole city.
The mountains are a mixture of Terragen and some photo's from my holidays.

Technical Informations
- about 40 hours of work
- 6000x9000 px
- Adobe Photoshop, 3dsMax9, C4D, Wacom Graphire 4, Canon EOS 350D

thats a very...New type of nebula for you, I like those which resemble the eagle nebula in shape and colour. And I can't tell where the Terragen stops and the Photo's start either.

Cool city, having c4d, I should try that someday.

The planet in the back looks like Corusaunt, and i love it. though the nebula looks like it was a stock photo, but i know you and you made it yourself, great job Tobias. :+fav:
